I use Hibernate every day when I'm finished with the computer, never shut it down. I had Win2k on my board and upgraded to BIOS 1006 with that if I remember correctly and hibernate and standby were fine there too. Sounds like your RAID controller might have something to do with hibernate not working?

I have not put a filter there so I am just wondering if this is my next step. Windows2000 - In the standby case the next Irp received is for PDO 0. The problem is related to power management. WindowsXP - Standby and hibernate are fine. Windows2000 Hibernate is fine and standby has the problem.

I'll try switching it off and doing a test standby... I'll let you know how I fare (obviously I don't want to go into standby mode while I'm online. The whole internet might standby, and I'd be in trouble!) The problem is pgpdisk.sys - the driver is not hibernate-friendly. Disable it and all should be well.
